Driver/Warehouse Coordinator for Trillium Brewing Company

 

Trillium Brewing Company is looking for a full-time Driver to join our team! This position calls for a dynamic, motivated individual responsible for planning and executing the timely delivery of product to accounts, transfer of inventory between multiple locations, and assisting the Operations team in general warehouse upkeep, organization, and 5-S.  This position is based in our Canton, MA location.  This is an amazing opportunity to join a rapidly expanding, family-run brewery and bring your expertise into the world of craft beer!

 

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Deliveries

  • Coordinate delivery details with Production and Operations department to ensure accurate and timely deliveries based on production and/or allocation requirements
  • Execute inventory transfers between multiple Trillium locations and record the details via OBEER
  • Safely and efficiently load and unload delivery vehicles
  • Conduct regular cycle counts of finished goods and careful accounting to ensure accurate inventory and account deliveries
  • Evaluate operations and logistics process and protocol and make recommendations as needed for efficiency and optimization of tasks
  • Coordinate inventory placement and accounting to ensure product integrity and fresh dates via FIFO
  • Effectively communicate delivery updates and schedule changes to impacted parties to ensure fluid process and accurate delivery expectations

 

Warehouse

  • Assist in maintaining a clean and well-organized environment based on 5-S principles and OSHA standards
  • Coordinate with warehouse operations team on fulfillment and warehouse activities when required

 

Teamwork

  • Maintain high visibility, open communications, and work collaboratively with Operations team and business partners in the Home Office
  • Be mindful of task interference at retail and brewery level, support inventory and relocation requests as needed
  • Represent the Trillium brand appropriately and respectfully with all wholesale and customer interactions

Safety

  • Inspect and monitor equipment (forklifts, hand trucks, and trucks) for preventative maintenance
  • Prioritize safety and cautious material handling

 

Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

 

Desired Qualifications & Abilities

Experience

  • Must have a valid driver's license with DOT medical card
  • Forklift experience preferred (Trillium will provide training)
  • Requires experience and demonstrated proof of safe driving and equipment use

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to produce accurate and on time deliveries and pick-ups
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to maintain and operate all equipment safely and efficiently
  • Can lift large, heavy items, up to 150 lbs
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to safely handle hazardous chemicals in accordance with strict safety protocols
  • Must be flexible to meet demands of the business, up to and including overtime
  • A deep passion for craft beer is a plus!
